This stone is produced by spraying silica sand with a high-pressure pump. Andesite pieces are automatically fed to sandblasting machine on wheeled cars. In sandblasted andesite surfaces, sand or sandblasting tips create small pits and humps. This way, surfaces gain textured and ancient look. Sand is moisturised by water during spraying to prevent environmental damage and collected under processing line.
